Shapers Comments: This board represents my first attempt at a composite board with bamboo veneer skins. The board has a fairly extreme bottom with a single concave flowing into a very deep bowled double concave, where the concaves are closer to the rail with very hard rails adjacent to the concaves and fins, vee out the tail. This bottom design will generate and lot of speed and release without sacrificing drive. There is a tucked edge along the entire length of the rail for better release and feel. ProBox Fin System provides many options for fine tuning the board to the conditions.

Shapers Comments: Quantum - Twin Keel
This model is a refined twin keel fish. Slight single to double concave, vee out the tail, tapered rails, and a speedy rocker line.
A modern, progressive fish design.

Shapers Comments: Designed for versatility, this is an all-around East Coast board. The rider wanted something that would work all year long for fast, down-the-line surfing. A tad extra width was added overall for effortless paddling and to keep the board working on smaller days. It was built using EPS foam and glassed with Bamboo cloth and Epoxy resin, so it also happens to be about as "green" as it gets. I chose Probox's Bing Quad Fin Set to give the board extra drive, speed, and versatility. Small changes in the fin's placements can tighten or loosen this board, giving the rider so many options. This board hauls!

Shapers Comments: This widepoint-forward single-bump shape is easily my most flexible design. I've used this same basic template for everything from slop grovelers to tube-charging pintails with great success. This particular version is my personal everyday board, optimized for the conditions here in on the Gulf, for soft to mid-power waves up to overhead. It has low rocker and full thickness throughout for getting into waves early. The rails are low, with a pronounced hard edge nose to tail for plenty of release to balance out the hold of these high-aspect John Malik quad fins. It has great drive down the line, and responds to deeply committed full-rail power carves without losing speed. Really fun board for front-footed surfers like myself who still want to step on the tail and put some serious weight behind a hack.

Shapers Comments: This board is 6' 6" long by 21 3/4" wide. It was made for a 6' 4" customer in Waikiki that wanted a highly versatile short board that would allow him to surf a wide range of wave sizes and reefs in that area, and occasionally the North Shore. The vast adjustability in the ProBox system greatly expands the design possibilities in circumstances such as this. With the right choice of fins and proper positioning, the board can be successfully ridden as a Single Fin, Twin Fin, 2 + 1, Tri Fin, Four Fin, and any combination one can think of.

Shapers Comments: This board was made for an older surfer who needed a larger board to float his increasing weight and lessening strength with age. And yet though a larger board, he still needed it to be maneuverable across the wide range of surf conditions that the North Shore can throw at him. With ProBox for his side fins he could not only select from a huge selection of available fins, so as to arrive at the right size fins for the conditions, but also easily adjust their positions fore and aft, as well as their cant to fine tune the boards performance.
